On the radio yesterday Richard E Grant described how star-struck he was while working in Hollywood. But some of those same stars, he said, made certain erroneous assumptions about anyone with an English accent.On the set of Hudson Hawk, Bruce Willis kept trying to impress Grant by quoting lines from Henry V. Grant wasn't sure how to respond. 'Well I read it once about 20 years ago . . .'
2. A reader of the online (New York-based) Morning News asks: 'I recently started dating a British guy. I think he's cute, but it may just be that he has an English accent. How can I tell the difference?'
