Eng-er-land midfield

So despite my reservations about Sven, England played well. While I'm relieved, it doesn't make me any more confident about Sven's selections next time when everyone's fit again.

Ledley King, the converted defender to holding midfielder, looked very comfortable in his position, and freed up Frank Lampard to devastating effect. Lampard and Gerrard have never looked comfortable together in England's
central midfield.

Should Sven now play a diamond, with Gerrard, Lampard and Beckham ahead of a holding midfielder?

Or should he just always pick between Gerrard and Lampard as to which plays ahead of the holding midfielder? That would be a tough decision for a man who hates to drop a star.
