Irony? Orwellian Doublethink?

A spokeswoman for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, Tasnim Aslam, said this in response to the Pope's lecture controversy:

“Anyone who describes Islam as a religion as intolerant encourages violence."

Consider the logic:

“Anyone who describes Islam as a religion as intolerant encourages violence."

And yea, the irony, and indeed the violence, continued, when five Christian churches in the West Bank of Israel/Palestine were firebombed. The justification by the Lions of Monotheism was:

"The attacks were carried out to protest the Pope's remarks linking Islam and violence".
