Seen Out and About in London: Joseph Fiennes

Living in London you tend to see a few famous people out and about. Here are some we've seen when they're off duty:

JOSEPH FIENNES

Known for:
Playing Will Shakespeare in the brilliant, multilayered London film Shakespeare in Love. Being a good actor, but not as talented as his brother Ralph.

Where seen:
Round the corner from our last house in Notting Hill, on a hot summer's day. Patrick and Kathryn had just moved to London, by boat on the Queen Mary, and I had collected them that morning. We were almost home, pulling into the final street, when we saw Joseph standing in the street talking on his mobile phone.

As both Patrick and Kathryn are keenly interested in Shakespeare, having met at the Shakespeare Institute while Patrick was living in my previous house in Stratford upon Avon, spotting "Shakespeare" seemed a fitting welcome to London.
