mighty boosh

Watch this clip of The Mighty Boosh's soup song. Learn it. Sing it to yourself as you eat soup.

I've seen Noel Fielding's standup quite a few times, and always felt it was fleetingly brilliant a bit unstructured, funny but without any kind of punchline to secure the laughs. But in his double-act with Julian Barrett, the Mighty Boosh often anchors the surrealistic humour.

Their entry on IMDB reveals some wonderfully crafted gags:

Howard Moon: I'm an explorer.
Vince Noir: I thought you were a writer?
Howard Moon: I do many things. I span the genres - they call me the genre spanner.
Vince Noir: Yeah, they call you the spanner...

and

Vince Noir: Goth Juice... The most powerful hairspray known to man. Made from the tears of Robert Smith.
