Decrepit

The Independent has just made me feel very old.

In an article about Andrew Lloyd Webber bringing the musical The Sound of Music to the London stage, they write,
This autumn's production is a long-held dream of Andrew Lloyd Webber and will be the first in London since Petula Clark starred a quarter century ago in the part made famous by Julie Andrews in the 1965 film.
My parents took me to what must have been that production. A quarter of a century ago!!!

from Maria: I object to the use of decrepit as a synonym for old. personally I aspire to be like super-gran when I'm older except not quite as skinny and definitely not quite as much mad bicycle riding.
