I was so, so sure that Real Madrid would destroy Arsenal in the Champions' League on Tuesday night. They've been playing brilliantly, and we've been playing disastrously. They had all their galacticos fit, we had NINE of our main players injured or suspended.

Cesc Fabregas, our 18-year-old midfielder, was arrested for smuggling as Arsenal left Spain the following day. Apparently he said to police, 'I don't know how it happened. I guess I just forgot I still had Zidane in my pocket . . .'
